Welcome to our new blog, Shooting From the Right. Our goal in this blog is to express conservative values with good old fashioned common sense. It seems in today’s media, that is one thing that is missing. There are a lot of great blogs out there dealing with politics, and current events, but we decided that there was room for one more. Why do we need one more blog, delving into the world of politics and current events? Because we don’t have one yet! That is the great thing about free speech in our country–if you have something to say, you can find a platform from which to say it.
It is my opinion that conservatism has lost its way. That is pretty evident from the candidates we have to choose from in this presidential election cycle. I’m a believer that conservative values can still win in this country, if we could just get a real conservative to run. Part of what we will explore in this blog are the true conservative values. I don’t write from an indoctrinated party platform, but rather from a true value system. It is my hope to be one voice in rallying the conservative mindset, to show that there is still a conservative core in America today.
