As you said, McCain might be able to teach him a thing or two. 2. If McCain is with Obama, then Obama cannot seek out the disgruntled soldier and set up a big press event where he can show how President Bush does not have the support of his own troops. 3. If McCain is with Obama, then Obama cannot find the worst areas of Iraq, and paint the entire country as being that way. Obama's platform on Iraq is predicated on failure, and if he goes for a visit with McCain, McCain just might show him the many areas of success that the troops are enjoying. We couldn't have that, now, could we? Obama does not want to visit Iraq with McCain for a couple of reasons:
