A most excellent choice if I do say so myself. I just love the way the MSM and Dem politicians are scrambling this weekend to try to make up dirt - since - there isn't any on this lady. They've resorted to making things up and MoveOn.org has even resorted to exaggerating her positions. I'm no supporter of Obama and I wasn't going to vote for McCain either. But, with this selection..I'm now in McCain's camp. I'm voting more for Palin than for McCain. Good commentary. You have echoed exactly what I am so excited about! I think this is a fabulous choice for McCain for the reasons you mentioned: women and conservatives. Even Geraldine Ferarro (sp?) loves the choice. The Democrats' only response (thus far) is to call her "an inexperienced former mayor of a town of a few thousand." They don't even want to start an "experience" argument with both candidates on the Republican ticket! Frankly, I hope she rips Joe Biden apart in the debate in Missouri!!
